By accessing or using the JobGlance ecosystem (including our Web App and Chrome Extension), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Use of the Services & Accounts

Scope: JobGlance is provided for your personal, non-commercial use to assist with your job search.
Account Security: If you create an account on our Web App, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable Use: You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Web App, the Extension, or the community-sourced job pool. Attempting to spam or manipulate the self-healing algorithm or job database is strictly prohibited.

2. AI Features (The Magic Toolbox)

JobGlance utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence to power features like "Auto-Tailored Cover Letters" and "Deep Company Research."

User Responsibility: AI can occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected results. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content (such as cover letters) before submitting it to an employer.
Prohibited AI Interactions: You agree not to attempt to manipulate, exploit, or bypass the security of our AI features. This includes, but is not limited to, prompt injection attacks, providing adversarial inputs, or attempting to extract system prompts, backend logic, or underlying API configurations.
No AI Liability: We are not responsible for any negative outcomes, missed opportunities, or inaccuracies arising from your use of these AI-generated materials.

3. Intellectual Property

The JobGlance extension, Web App, code, algorithms, design, and branding are owned by us. You may not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or reverse-engineer the services or their components without explicit permission.

4. No Guarantees & Third-Party Platforms

Best Effort: JobGlance provides job posting insights, matches, and analysis on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the data presented in the Global Job Hub.
Third-Party Changes: Our extension relies on the structure of supported third-party job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed). We are not responsible if changes to these external sites temporarily or permanently break extension functionality.
No Job Guarantee: We provide tools to empower your search, but we are not responsible for job outcomes, interview success, or hiring decisions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobGlance and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the Web App or Extension.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to JobGlance (including deleting your Web App account) at any time if you violate these terms or abuse the system.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show the most recent version. Continued use of JobGlance after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
